The Bauges massif offers a multitude of snowshoe itineraries. There's something for every taste and level. For sports enthusiasts, we can explore the most rugged part of the massif, in the south-east, close to the hunting and wildlife reserve. Here you'll find the massif's highest peaks: Arcalod, Trelod, Pécloz, Arclusaz and Sambuy. To the north and west, the terrain becomes gentler, giving way to forested plateaus (Feclaz, Mariet d'Arith) more suited to contemplative walks.
Level required for this outing: From beginner to expert (See the article on snowshoe levels for self-assessment)
You have understood that the choice is wide and the mountain leader in charge of the outing will adapt the itinerary to the level of the group and to the weather and snow conditions to ensure your safety and for everyone to enjoy themselves.
Want to discover other sectors? We also propose outings to plateau des Glières and Le Grand-Bornand.
