The canyon descent of the big waterfall of Angon is a "must" in terms of course with numerous basins, waterfalls and caves in a natural site, you will then join the lower part with the passage of the mailbox.
Don't hesitate to do this route on a hot summer afternoon to refresh yourself in the middle of these magnificent gorges in the middle of nature, or after a morning via ferrata in the Aravis.
The big waterfall of Angon has some very steep 40 metre high vertical sections with technical abseiling descents where you will literally be hanging in your harness! We recommend that participants have some previous experience of abseiling before embarking on this impressive gorge. If you have previous climbing or caving experience, this will be very useful for canyoning in this river.
It is above all a course with verticalities and with little white water swimming, so you will not have to pass through tumultuous waters, potholes or siphons... But don't worry, you will inevitably pass your head under the water of the waterfalls, especially as the flow is often very good during the summer, thanks to the snow reservoirs of the Tournette situated just upstream.
Throughout the trip, the guide will give you sound advice and ensure your progress so that the outing takes place in complete safety.
The guides and instructors are all qualified canyoning instructors, they have all the necessary equipment for rescue and organisation of the canyoning trip. They will be there to advise you and help you discover the activity in a gentle and friendly atmosphere, in small groups.
Most of our guides are inhabitants of the Bornes, Bauges and Aravis areas, they will be able to advise you on other recreational activities or nature sports.
