The Teits de Lanfon (Altitude 1824m) has always fascinated summer vacationers on Lake Annecy, this lace-shaped cliff is visible from the left bank of Lake Annecy, it overlooks the lake on its west bank and dominates the whole Annecy basin, such as the big sister of Chateau de Menthon in St Bernard.
The crossing of Lanfon's Teeth requires a good physical condition, the use of rope and mountain technical equipment.
In summer, you do not need crampons or ice axes but this ridge ride will deliver the scent of mountaineering because it remains exposed even if the difficulties are moderate, it is above all the easy terrain where it crosses ibex, eagles, chamois ... but also base-jumpers, high liners and climbers.
With a beautiful hike approach, the ascent of the first pass and the discovery of the panorama, belay movement, short sections of climbing, a descent with possible reminders, this crossing will fill your eyes as beautiful landscapes and your alpine baggage new skills and unforgettable memories.
For the more adventurous, the "must" will stay at the bivouac at the top to enjoy a beautiful starry night and summer around a wood fire with, as a backdrop, the Milky Way and the lights so close to Lake Annecy and from his city.
