With vertical descents of over 1500 meters, La Clusaz is a ski village located in the heart of the Aravis massif. Only 40 minutes driving from Annecy, the station has an incredible ski area, renowned for its relief, its orientation and especially for the diversity of its unmarked runs. The peaks average 2,500 metres, which means that the snow is cold and light throughout the season, protected from the winds that often damage the snow cover in other resorts higher up.
At the beginning of the season we usually have a lot of snowfall and a grassy base, which means that we can put on our skis with just 30 cm of fresh snow! Once the winter season gets started, it's a real paradise for off-piste and freeride lovers. Our high mountain guides will take you to discover this area dedicated to freeride and will share with you their experience and their passion for these great snowy spaces.
Level required for this trip: Level 2/3 - INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED.
