Up From 300m to 400m Down From 300m to 400m 1h30 to 2h walk
Meet at 9am at the col de la croix Fry for a briefing and a meeting with your mountain leader.
It's time to put on your snowshoes and head off across the Plateau des Follières in search of the best place (depending on the snow and weather conditions of the day) to carry out our snow shelter construction workshop. Organized in small groups (3 or 4 depending on the number of participants), you will learn to build a type of shelter (Jurassic shelter, Norwegian shelter, snowdrift shelter, trench shelter). At the end of the construction, we will compare the advantages and disadvantages of each technique.
Return in the afternoon.
