Our high mountain guides offer you a ski touring holiday in the heart of nature, entirely adaptable to your wishes and your level of skiing. Whether you're looking for an up and down descent or a ski mountaineering experience on the Aravis ridges, there's something for everyone!
Typical schedule for intermediate skiers:
Day 1: Meeting at 9am at the Refuge de la Voye - Welcome by your guide. Training on avalanche safety and the use of rescue equipment. Departure for a mild acclimatization hike, +/-700m of ascent.
Day 2: Departure for one of the most beautiful rides in the area: La Mandallaz, south-west side, with an altitude of 2277 meters and D+ 1170m. This superb summit offers many variations for the descent on the snowy slopes. If you still have energy, it is possible to continue the climb to the Tête de l'Aulp for an even longer descent.
Day 3: Last day on the southern tip of the Etale (alt. 2400m) via the Alpage de Tardevant, a real wild valley with 1340 m of positive difference in altitude. This is the perfect way to end this break in the Aravis with one of the most aesthetic descents of the massif.
And for an absolute break in these great snowy spaces, you will be accommodated at the Refuge De la Voye. Located in the mountains of Manigod, this former mountain farm is the ideal place to start your ski touring days. And because effort rhymes with comfort, the refuge is of course equipped with a swimming pool and a sauna to recharge your batteries after those sportive days!
