Just a stone's throw from Annecy, at the summit of the Semnoz, we're offering you an unusual experience! Walk in the snow at night! Our adventure begins at the top of the mountain. Depending on the season and the moon, the evening colors will be more or less intense. Once in the forest, you'll need a headlamp to get your bearings. The advantage of the night is that we'll be alone on the mountain in the middle of the forest, enjoying the calm and beauty of the starry sky. After the effort, there's the comfort of a warm Savoyard meal waiting for you!

Night-time snowshoe walk followed by a Savoyard meal in a mountain restaurant

Up 200m Down 200m 1h30 to 2h walk

Starting from the Rochers Blancs parking lot, we'll put on our snowshoes for a loop through the snow-covered Semnoz forest. Depending on the light conditions, we'll be able to see Lake Annecy below us, as well as La Tournette and the Mont-Blanc massif. The fresh air has whetted your appetite! After the walk, enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal.

Road access: By car only for the Semnoz (25 min from Annecy)

The price include
Supervision by a qualified hiking guide.
The loan of snowshoes, poles and a headlamp for the night walk.

Participant’s personal equipment
Warm, high and waterproof hiking or snow shoes (no Moon Boot or low-top sneakers!!!) suitable for snowshoeing, warm, breathable clothing adapted to the weather (fleece, down jacket, windproof and waterproof jacket, gloves or mittens, hat), backpack for picnics or snacks, water (1L for half days to 2L for full days), sunscreen, cap, sunglasses (mask in strong wind)

For safety reasons, people who do not have the right equipment on the day of the outing may be refused by the mountain leader and the outing will not be refunded
Group
COLLECTIVE OUTING: Confirmed outings only from 6 people booked / niche. Groups can be formed up to a maximum of 10 participants / 1 mountain leader.
Schedule and meeting place
Meet at 6pm at the White Rocks parking lot. Return to the starting point around 8/8:30 pm for the meal. End of meal around 10pm.
