Today we are going to discover the Parmelan plateau.
During this hike, you will dive into a very particular mineral universe called "lapiaz".
This rock formation resulting from the dissolution of limestone creates striking landscapes with a lunar atmosphere.
The walk will be technical in places but the game and the views are worth it.
Your guide will guide you on the plateau to discover geological curiosities (caves, glaciers, chasm) while explaining the history of the formation of the massif.
All this with a panoramic view on the Alps, the Jura and the lake of Annecy.
A short stop at the Parmelan refuge will be an opportunity to have a coffee or a meal if you feel like it.
