The approach is from the top, where you have to reach the Doriaz car park just after the village of Les Favres. The approach takes around 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the route you choose.
The easiest route is undoubtedly the 450m-high "P'Tchi" via ferrata, which takes place on a south-facing cliff. The sun shines from 8am to 5pm on this via ferrata, and it's very hot in summer. The route is more of a traverse, with steep, vertical sections and perfect little overhangs to spice up the adventure. A long, steep, slightly overhanging traverse takes us to a 35 metre long footbridge. The exit is even steeper with a few walls to climb. We recommend this route to very sporty people with good via ferrata experience.
The route to the "Grotte à Carret" is much more difficult, and gets you into the mood right from the start, with an overhanging wall to warm up your arms. Here, the emptiness and aerial atmosphere are felt right from the start and set the tone for the rest of the route, which winds its way between steep walls, overhangs and slabs above an abyssal void. If you're in the mood for adrenaline, this is the course for you, but you'll need to be in good shape.
The 2 courses also include monkey bridges, beams and walls equipped with handles and bars. You'll need to use all your technique to get over all these obstacles, which make these 2 courses incredibly beautiful!
We only recommend this activity for adults or over 16s.
