Day 1: La combe des Amburnex
D+ 380m D- 380m Dist 14km 4h30 walk
On the first day, we set off to explore the Combe des Amburnex. We'll be doing a loop through the high valleys of the Jura, which keep the snow and cold in winter. We're on high mountain pastures, so the environment is forested but also open to pastureland dotted with old farms. As we climb higher, we can make out the Alps in the distance.
Accommodation: Hotel. Meals: Lunch & dinner.
Day 2: The crests of Mont tendre
D+ 450m D- 450m Dist 15km 5h walk
On the second day, we'll follow the ridge path towards Mont Tendre, the highest peak in the Swiss Jura at 1679m. It offers exceptional views of the entire Alpine arc. There are several options for the return journey, depending on snow conditions.
