Experience a winter night in a mountain refuge. In the afternoon, we will leave for a snowshoe hike of about 2h30 through the beautiful spruce forests and meadows. As we go along, the view, which emerges, will let us see the magnificent snow-covered peaks of the Bornes and Aravis mountains. The sun, which sets, tints the peaks of the Pointe Perçée mountain that protrudes in the distance with a pink colour. The refuge is not far now, smoke is coming out of the chimney. I can't wait until we get there to warm up and share a good Savoyard meal by candlelight!

First experience of the shelter in winter

Highlights of the stay

A snowshoeing experience in wild landscapes.
Accommodation in the mountains with a typical refuge atmosphere.
The Savoyard meal by candlelight.

Day 1 : Ascent to the refuge

Up 350m Down 150m 2h to 2h30 walking

See you at 2:00 p. m. at Confins. We then go for a snowshoe hike between forest and meadows facing the Aravis range. Overnight in a refuge.

Day 2 : Return

Up 130m Down 280m 1h30 to 2h walking

After breakfast facing the mountains, it is time to put the snowshoes back on. We leave the refuge to reach the Confins by the col des mouilles.

Number of participants

COLLECTIVE OUTING: Confirmed outings only from 6 people booked / niche. Groups can be formed up to a maximum of 10 participants / 1 mountain leader.

Date

The scheduled dates correspond to group outings. Subject to availability, the activity can be organized at another time in the winter as a private engagement. Please contact us for a personalized quote.
