Situated at an altitude of over 1500 meters, the ski resort of La Clusaz is located in the Aravis massif. Its renowned ski area is an ideal playground for off-piste skiing lovers! Warm up your thighs because your high mountain guide will take you on a 3 day freeride course, specially reserved for good skiers, who want to have fun in powder snow, far from the marked slopes!
The meeting point is fixed in the morning at 9am on the snow front of the Bossonnet chairlift. We leave as a group for a first warm-up run (on the Combe de Borderan or Paravalanche side) before letting our skis slide down snowy slopes of more than 1000 m of vertical drop! Depending on the snow conditions and your level of skiing, your mountain guide will take you to adapt his itinerary so that you can take advantage of the best off-piste corners of the large La Clusaz ski area. When the powder is there, then you are sure to have the best time of your winter holidays. As a connoisseur and expert of the mountain, your guide will do what is necessary to find the best snow, while respecting the exposure and the risk of avalanche.
At the Bureau des Guides, safety is at the heart of our concerns. That's why your guide will give you ongoing training on the use of avalanche rescue equipment, the rules to follow to avoid the worst and to adopt a responsible and civic attitude in the mountains. These elements are essential for good off-piste skiing!
In case of bad weather, the pine forests will open their branches to us to ski sheltered from the wind and with good visibility, in snow that has nothing to envy to that of the big ski resorts of the Alps. So, ready to put on your skis? We are waiting for you!
